Type II Diabetes in Remission After Weight Loss Surgery

This evening I went to a weight loss support meeting. Unfortunately this was the first support meeting I have been able to attend since my gastric bypass surgery in July. I will be retuning for the value of attending was obvious. Many success stories were told. People feel so much better since their surgery and for most the weight has really been coming off. Two individuals that had Type II diabetes and were on insulin were told within days of surgery that they no longer had diabetes.
It is exciting to hear the stories of others. We now have a number of regular readers at Terminal Obesity. Many of you have lost and continue to lose weight following bariatric weight loss surgery. Some of you have lost weight thru other forms of weight loss and exercise programs. As I have mentioned before and will continue to mention it would be wonderful to posts your stories and before and after pictures to share with others.
